Meet Patricia
I’m Patricia Stamper — and I’m running to serve all 770,000 DC residents.
Washington, DC is my home. I’m a community leader and organizer who believes our city works best when leadership is rooted in lived experience, equity, and real accountability.
I’m running for an At-Large seat on the DC Council because every resident — in every ward — deserves a government that listens, responds, and delivers. From Deanwood to Marshall Heights, from Capitol Hill to Takoma, our communities deserve safe neighborhoods, strong schools, transparent government, and economic opportunity that reaches everyone, not just a few.

Why I’m Running
I’ve spent years serving Ward 7 families — advocating for youth, elevating community voices, and fighting for resources east of the river. That work has shown me what’s possible when we center people and community in decision-making.
Now, I’m ready to take that work citywide.
I believe leadership should be accessible and accountable. It should be bold on education, equity, housing, and public safety. And it should always be rooted in community — not special interests.
A People-Powered Campaign
I’m building a people-centered campaign because DC deserves better than politics as usual. This movement is about everyday Washingtonians coming together to create a more equitable, safer, and united city.
I can’t do this alone. This campaign depends on community members who believe in showing up, speaking out, and building something better together.
Thank you for being part of this movement — and for believing in what we can build for Washington, DC.

People-powered leadership only works when people show up. Whether you volunteer, donate, or spread the word, your involvement helps build a stronger, more equitable DC.
